Linked Learning is an approach to high school that integrates rigorous academics with real-world learning opportunities in fields of engineering, health care, performing arts, law, and more. The Linked Learning Convention will bring together over 1,000 leaders in education, business, workforce development, and policy from across CA and other states for professional learning aimed at ensuring all students are well prepared for college, career, and life. In addition to hearing from speakers, participating in breakout sessions, and networking; participants will have a chance to learn through experiential site visits and meet Linked Learning students. The theme of the 2017 Convention is “Accelerating Quality and Building Scale”, and it will take place in Oakland, CA from Monday to Wednesday, January 23-25, 2017.
