This conference brings together K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and school and district leaders who want to network and learn more about project-based learning (PBL). PBL World centers around the Buck Institute for Education‘s (BIE) 3-day Gold Standard PBL 101 workshop which focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to design, assess, and manage a rigorous, relevant, and standards-based project. The workshop models the project process and features a blend of direct instruction, video analysis, hands-on work, resource sharing, and peer collaboration and feedback.
For participants who have already attended a BIE 101 workshop, a 201 workshop is offered, which features in-depth work on specific PBL teaching practices. Please note that this institute has a waiting list for attendance.
