A Learner-Centered System Student Experience

By ReSchool Colorado
December 13, 2016

This graphic presents a story of a typical day in the life of a fictional student, Katrina, at the age of 4, 11, 19, and 27, experiencing student-centered learning. It brings to life learner-centered education and shows the long term impact a shift in the education system could have on students’ future success. To more fully communicate the impact learner-centered education can have on students, ReSchool Colorado, an initiative of the Donnell-Kay Foundation committed to cultivating the conditions to support a new system of learning in Colorado, created this interactive graphic.

These stories could be used by district and school leaders to emphasize key ideas to families, community and business partners, or general community members just learning about student-centered approaches.
