The ASCD Empower17 conference has been redesigned by educators, for educators. It will bring together teachers, principals, instructional coaches, superintendents, and other educators. The conference has been set up to empower participants to create their own personalized professional learning experience. Content will focus on supporting the whole child. Keynote and special session speeches, interactive panel discussions, and concurrent sessions will cover topics including:
- The whole child
- Transformational leadership
- Global engagement
- Poverty and equity,
- Redefining student success
- Teaching and learning.
In addition, school teams can work in the reflection pool, a comfortable space designed to facilitate group collaboration and innovative thinking to begin putting vision into action.
