This webinar presented by Louisa Sullivan, Senior Community Strategist at  Common Sense Education, will provide an overview of the Common Sense Recognition Program. Common Sense Education supports educators working to teach students to be safe, responsible, and respectful as they participate in the digital world. Their recognition program is designed to recognize good teacher practice and build a community of educators, from novices to experts, who believe in the power of technology to transform learning and know that digital teaching and digital citizenship go hand in hand. In this webinar, the presenter will:

  • Review the Common Sense Education Recognition Program’s NEW criteria for educators, schools, and districts
  • Walk through the resources that support your digital citizenship and digital teaching practice
  • Provide insights and examples of pathways to reach recognition

This online event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 3 p.m. EDT. The event is appropriate for all K-12 classroom teachers, administrators, tech coaches, librarians, preservice teachers, parent educators, and others. Preregistration is required.
