A pathway initiative is a helpful organizational guide to help students in their exploration regarding the opportunities for their future in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This webinar, led by Marcy Raymond, will describe and feature approaches that integrate high school, college, and technical coursework. The “Bodies Pathway” encourages experiences in pre-medicine and biomechanical engineering; the “Growth Pathway” encourages experiences in food sciences, health, and genetics; and the “Design Pathway” encourages experiences in mathematics and engineering. The webinar is also designed to assist participants in developing their approach to implementation.

This webinar is part of a series sponsored by The Community of Practice (CoP), a website dedicated to educators, school districts, postsecondary institutions, businesses and community organizations, and anyone interested in developing and expanding early college and career pathway programs and initiatives. Partners in this initiative include the Early College Expansion Project partners, members of the Early College High School Initiative, and the STEM Early College Expansion Partnership. All of these organizations are part of the U.S. Department of Education Investing in Innovation Fund (i3) initiative. For more information on the series, and to download any related documents, please visit and join the CoP.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, January 12, from 3:30-6 p.m. (ET). The event is free, but registration is required. After your request has been approved, you’ll receive instructions for joining the meeting.
