This site features a curriculum to empower students to begin Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR). Through YPAR young people are trained to conduct systematic research to improve their their communities and the institutions intended to serve them. The YPAR Hub, a partnership between the University of California, Berkeley and San Francisco Peer Resources, houses the YPAR curriculum, as well as provides an online space for partners, facilitators, researchers, and youth to connect with each other and share resources and lessons learned.

Youth-serving organization and educators will be particularly interested in the YPAR curriculum which includes detailed lesson plans and all the needed materials to lead a group of youth through the YPAR process from getting to know each other to design, investigation, and and action.
