This online mini-conference will focus on libraries and makerspaces. Attendees will investigate how librarians with makerspaces can create new partnerships and collaborative efforts in and with their communities, offering further services and methods to meet patron needs. Heather Moorefield-Lang will serve as moderator for an opening panel featuring several Professors at Schools of Library and information Sciences. Attendees will also be able to view their choice of over a dozen 30-minute sessions, all of which will be recorded and available after the event. They include options such as “High School Library Makerspace Programming” and “Low Cost Tools to Bring Making into Your Library”.
This online event for librarians and other student support staff will take place on October 11th, 2017 from 3-6pm EDT. Registration is required and will also give you access to recordings after the event.
