In partnership with The Boston Foundation, the Center for Collaborative Education (CCE) is hosting a free personalized learning convening: Envisioning an Equitable Future Through Personalized Learning. This event will bring together educators to learn more about personalized learning happening in MA, and to think about shaping the future of education across the state and will feature Students at the Center Distinguished Fellow Arthur Baraf, principal of The MET School in Providence, Rhode Island.
Other speakers include Ron Berger of EL Education, who will be presenting on authentic learning. Breakout sessions will highlight examples of personalized learning in the classroom, with schools presenting on project-based learning strategies, competencies, and student advisories. The lunch panel will feature local leaders and policymakers discussing how to bring personalized learning to all students in MA.
This free event will take place on Tuesday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT at Wheelock College, Brookline, MA. Registration is required.
