In this webinar, EiE, the curricular division of the Museum of Science, Boston, will discuss how hands-on learning IS possible, even from a distance. Right now, educators across the globe are working to reach their students and engage them in meaningful STEM learning. During this edWebinar, attendees will first gain an understanding of why hands-on activities bring meaning to STEM. Then, presenters will discuss ways to bring hands-on activities into virtual learning environments. They will also share examples of how EiE has pivoted to support educators during this pandemic through new resources and professional development. Finally, they will preview free resources made available through the Museum of Science, Boston and EiE.

This edWebinar will be of interest to preK through middle school teachers, librarians, STEM coaches, science specialists, and school and district leaders. This free event will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT. Registration is required.
