How Competency-Based Education is Changing Teaching and Learning in K-12

In this webinar, a panel of experts will share insights on why competency-based education (CBE) matters and what it looks like in practice. Participants will get an inside look at the challenges educators and administrators face when their school transitions to a CBE model and how it affects assessment.  Experts will talk shop about how edtech can support competency-based practices.

Expert panelists will include Julia Freeland Fisher,  Director of Education Research at the Clayton Christensen Institute, and Jonathan G. Vander Els, former principal and Executive Director of the New Hampshire Learning Initiative.

This webinar was designed for educators at schools shifting to, or considering adopting, a competency-based model. The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6PM EDT. The webinar is free, but preregistration is required.
