This webinar is the second in a series sponsored by The Community of Practice and will explore several types of implementations of STEM schools across the United States. The Community of Practice is a website dedicated to educators, school districts, postsecondary institutions, businesses and community organizations, and anyone interested in developing and expanding early college and career pathway programs and initiatives.
In this session, Marcy Raymonds will look at the four implementation categories, specific school examples, and the strategies that are most important for the success of each. The webinar will examine each according to the following constructs: leadership as the driver for change, building professional capacity among staff, partnership development (higher education, community interest, and economic drivers), a student-centered learning climate, and instructional guidance and matriculation.
The free online seminar will take place on Thursday, January 26th, from at 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. EST and requires advance registration.
