By Center on Technology and Disability
February 22, 2019

Originally created by the Center on Technology and Disability for college and university personnel training programs, this module can help teachers better understand assistive technologies. It brings together a wealth of resources, including a library of videos and webinar recordings, along with a glossary of important terms. It can also be supplemented with Assistive Technology in the Classroom: Examples Designed to Help Teachers and Other School Personnel which provides real world examples of AT use in the classroom.

This professional development module will be of interest to educators of any grade or subject. It could be completed individually or a group of teachers could work on the module at the same pace and meet to discuss their learning. Components could also be incorporated into professional development offerings or trainings.
