This short 2-minute video documents a community learning walk at a high school in Meriden, CT that is implementing many student-centered approaches. It includes footage of educators interacting with business and community members as they tour classrooms at the school. It also features interviews and clips from the debriefing section highlighting key takeaways from their visit. Seeing students working in collaborative and personalized ways brought to life important components of student-centered classrooms for these visitors.

School leaders might use this video to inspire their own community learning walk. It could also be shown to teachers before conducting a similar event to illustrate the potential community buy-in that can be created, by opening the school doors.
