This toolkit was produced by the Center on Technology and Disability at American Institutes for Research (AIR), in partnership with the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Personalized instruction often relies on the use of digital learning resources. Accessibility is essential for leveraging technology and providing educational opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities and English language learners. The Digital Accessibility Toolkit defines and discusses the importance and benefits of accessibility, identifies legal requirements, and explains how to procure accessible technology. This toolkit will give school leaders the guidance necessary to ensure the digital learning resources used in their schools are accessible to all students and parents.
