Resources for Understanding and Supporting #BlackLives Matter

This resource list curated by Dr. Tia C. Madkins from the College of Education at the University of TX at Austin offers a huge number of anti-racism resources. The resources are divided by categories that range from popular press articles and podcasts to culturally responsive education and resources for children.

The author also provides extensive lists of articles, books and other resources related to specific considerations highlighted by Black Lives Matter such as why to always capitalize “B” in “Black”, the importance fo using asset-based terms rather than “minority”, and an overview of structural-racism and white supremacy.

Any stakeholder can dive into the resources on this list to become better educated about Black Lives Matter and will be better able to act as an ally.
