The Better Math Teaching Network

The Better Math Teaching Network is a group of  researchers and practitioners looking to transform high school math instruction to become more student-centered. In mathematics, teachers traditionally stand at the front of the room, are assumed to have all of the knowledge needed for teaching, and learning is a one-way street. The network is committed to changing math instruction and professional development for math teachers.

The Better Math Teaching Network website outlines their core principals and new approaches which might spark new ideas for any math teacher. High School math teachers in New England can also learn how to apply to join the network through their website.
